Privacy Policy

Clipper360 (the "Service") is operated by ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: email address, name (optional), a securely hashed password, and your time-zone setting.
• Content: videos you upload and the clips, transcripts, titles, captions and hashtags we generate from them.
• Connected accounts: if you connect YouTube or Instagram, the access tokens those services issue to us, your channel name or username, and the IDs and links of posts we publish for you.
• Billing: your plan, subscription status and billing country. Payments are processed by our payment partners (Paddle or Razorpay). We never see or store full card or bank details.
• Usage and device data: minutes of video processed, and technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and timestamps) needed to run and secure the Service.

How we use information

• To provide the Service: create clips and, when you ask, publish them to your connected accounts at the times you choose.
• To manage your account and subscription, enforce plan limits, provide support and send service messages.
• To keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, we share it for advertising only as described under Cookies and advertising and only with your consent, and we don't use your videos to train AI models.

Service providers

We disclose information only to service providers that process it on our behalf under contract: our cloud hosting provider (stores and processes videos), Anthropic (receives text transcripts to choose the best moments; no audio or video is sent), Paddle and Razorpay (payments; Paddle acts as Merchant of Record), and Google/YouTube and Meta/Instagram (only to publish clips you choose to post). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

YouTube API Services

Clipper360 uses YouTube API Services to upload videos to your channel. By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's processing of your data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. We request only permission to upload videos and to read your channel's name. You can revoke our access at any time in your Google security settings. When you disconnect or revoke access, we delete the stored YouTube tokens within 7 days.

Instagram

We use the Instagram API to publish Reels to your Professional account and read your username. To publish, Instagram downloads the clip from a private, time-limited link. You can remove our access in Instagram under Settings, then Apps and websites, or by clicking Disconnect in the app.

Website analytics

We count visits to our website without cookies: we record the page, the referring website or ad campaign (UTM tags), approximate country, and device type, and identify a visitor only by a code that changes every day, so we can't follow you across days. IP addresses aren't stored with this data. Country is looked up on our own server (IP Geolocation by DB-IP).

Cookies and advertising

We use one strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. Only if you click "Accept" in our cookie banner, we also load advertising tags from Google and Meta, which use cookies to measure our ads and show our ads to people who visited our site. You can change your choice anytime with the Your privacy choices link at the bottom of every page. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a rejection. Our payment partners may set their own cookies during checkout to process payments and prevent fraud.

Marketing emails and ad audiences

If you tick the optional marketing box when signing up, we may email you tips and offers, and may upload your email address (securely hashed by the ad platform) to Google or Meta to show you relevant ads ("Customer Match" / "Custom Audiences"). You can opt out anytime by contacting us.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We don't sell personal information. Using advertising cookies or ad audiences can count as "sharing" under California law. To opt out, click Your privacy choices and choose "Reject", turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or email .

Retention and deletion

Uploaded source videos are deleted once your clips are created. Finished clips are deleted automatically after 30 days, unless they're still scheduled to post. You can delete any video and its clips at any time. Account data is kept while your account is active. We delete it within 30 days of a verified deletion request, except billing records we must keep by law.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email from your account email. We'll verify your identity and respond within 30 days (45 days where allowed by law). We won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): in the past 12 months we collected identifiers (email, IP address), commercial information (subscription records), internet activity (service logs) and user content, for the business purposes described above. We don't sell personal information; advertising cookies and ad audiences (only with your consent or opt-in) may count as "sharing", which you can opt out of at any time (see Do Not Sell or Share). We don't use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

EEA, UK and other regions (GDPR): we process your data to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in securing and improving the Service, and to comply with legal obligations. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

International transfers

We and our providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the European Union, the United States, India and the United Arab Emirates. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed, all connections use HTTPS, and access tokens are stored on our servers only and never shared with other users. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

The Service is not directed to children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 (and never from children under 13). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

We'll post any changes here and update the date above. If a change is material, we'll notify you by email or in the app.
